Leilani is a dedicated instructor specializing in beginner swimmers, bringing strong safety and rescue expertise to every private lesson. She holds an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification, American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, and American Red Cross Title 22 Professional Rescuers Certification, ensuring best‑practice water safety and emergency readiness. Leilani began her aquatics career as a Santa Cruz County Parks Little Guard and a Capitola Junior Guard. She continued her career at Simpkins Family Swim Center, serving as both a Lifeguard and Swim Lesson Instructor, where she built a solid foundation in teaching water comfort and core skills. Leilani also holds the American Red Cross Babysitting Certification. Her calm, encouraging approach and keen eye for technique help new swimmers progress confidently at their own pace.
